This Hybrid Partial Insert Reader is designed to read on insertion and decode approximately 2.5 inches of magnetically encoded data on one to three tracks, and/or read and write to SmartCards. Its built-in ESD protection makes it ideal for applications in dry/air-conditioned environments. The Spectrum Hybrid reader is available in magnetics only, SmartCard or hybrid versions.
