The SCR333 is a 3.5 inch bay internal reader for built-in integration into PCs. It is ISO 7816 compliant and used for smart cards in ID 1 format. The SCR333 reader allows in-field firmware updates.
The SCR333 is especially suitable for the integration into any standard 3.5 inch bay slots in PCs, work stations, thin client systems, and kiosks.
Typical applications for the SCR333 include secure logical access to computers and networks, secure authentication for Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer applications, and secure logon such as email encryption.
